Over the many clients that I’ve talked with and the hundreds of emails that I’ve sent out, I get one question that pops up over and over again.
Why did you pick the cardinal?
To be simple I’ve always been a fan cardinal. I love their majestic yet simple look. So I took inspiration from my past work that I will talk about in a later post. This logo took two iterations to finally make its place. The first one was not all that eye-catching and quite boring. This second one, from the moment that I saved it I knew that this cardinal is the one.
No joke the same day that I made the logo I got my “first why the cardinal?”. It was from my grandma! She was explaining that the cardinal symbolizes that a loved one is watching over you. I sat there for a moment and realized that the cardinal was the sign that I needed. Knowing that a loved one is watching me build my dream empowered me to build my dream. Even if I didn’t have much knowledge. I know that this adventure of mine will be blessed by that loved one.
This life of ours is too short to sit around and wait for good to come to us. I know for a fact that I’m going to fight to make this business of mine successful. I urge anyone that is thinking of starting their own business to do so. No matter how hard it is, no matter how much money you have. If you have an idea and if you have the drive. That is all you need.
